Shawn Mera

A dedicated community leader, Shawn Mera understands the importance of encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit in NEPA. Shawn brings innovative ideas to the competition and looks forward to making this year’s competition more interactive. Shawn has been an active volunteer with the BPC for many years, displaying his continued dedication to this event and the community.


Lynn Banta

Lynn Banta is a lawyer by training and an entrepreneur by spirit. She has a knack for assembling turn-around teams that excel, having more than 25 successes in her portfolio.

Jerry Lisman

Lisman Holdings (LHI) is an operating company with investments and interests in consulting, e-commerce, product development, entertainment, contract packaging & assembly services and medical consumer products. Tim Maloney is a corporate finance attorney specializing in working with Businesses, including Start-ups, Mergers & Acquisitions, Contract Review, Shareholder/Partnership Dispute Resolution and Litigation and Dissolution. Tim has extensive experience in forming corporations, limited liability companies (LLC’s) and partnerships, he has assisted companies in all stages in developing strategies for working with investors and raising capital through private placements of debt and equity securities.

Maggie Nasser

Maggie Nasser is the Administrator, Special Projects and Initiatives at the Scranton Area Community Foundation. At the Foundation, she assists with the management of projects and focus areas such as the Women in Philanthropy initiative, donor relations, fund management, and capacity building efforts.

She will be receiving a Master’s of Business Administration with concentrations in Health Care Management and Operations Management from the University of Scranton in May 2017.
